Yummy chocolate cake!

Ingredients:

  • 250g plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp xanthum gum
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 65g cocoa
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 250ml milk alternative e.g.oat, soya
  • 200ml sunflower oil
  • 1tsp vanilla extract 

Method:

  • 1. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  • 2. Separately, mix the wet ingredients together.
  • 3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix thoroughly.
  • 4. Pour into a 23x33cm tin and bake for 25 mins.
  • 5. Optional topping: make up ‘buttercream’ using:

100g of dairy free spread e.g.Pure and 200g of icing sugar1tsp of cocoa. Melt:150g bar of dark, dairy free chocolate then pour into the ‘buttercream’ and mix to fully combine.Spread topping over your chocolate cake and enjoy!
